Battalion Chief Jerry Tracy was the Unit Commander of Squad 18 and has served many years in high-rise areas of Manhattan—an Instructor at the FDNY Academy for the Captains development course. He has collaborated to develop the “Back to Basics” training, which focuses on engine company operations.
