Andrei Cherny, a Senior Speechwriter to Vice President Al Gore at age 21, Andrei Cherny was the youngest White House Speechwriter in American history. He has also written speeches for President Bill Clinton, Richard Gephardt, cabinet members, senators, governors, and members of the House of Representatives. He is currently a senior advisor to the DNC, and has worked as a special advisor on the Kerry campaign.
He is the author of the 2000 Democratic Party Platform. He was the founding Editor of Blueprint: Ideas for a New Century, a policy journal geared toward finding the next set of new ideas for American politics. He presently is the Contributing Editor of The New Democrat and the Senior Policy Advisor to the Speaker of the California State Assembly.
