About The Author
In “How To Escape The No-Win Trap,” (McGraw-Hill, February 2004), Barbara Cowan Berg, licensedclinical social worker, lecturer, and author, helps readers identify complex dilemmas and “no-win traps” that keep them hostage from enjoying more satisfying personal and professional lives.
“The book was borne out of some of my own personal, painful experiences,” says Berg. “I wanted to share not only my revelations, but patterns of behavior I observed after years of professional research, private practice and lecturing to various corporations and groups around the world. ‘How To Escape The No-Win Trap,’ assists readers in evaluating and understanding how their personal family history effects their present choices and decisions. They discover how to appraise where they are in life right now; utilizing techniques to read between the lines and assess the truth . They are also guided to examine their internal thought process and learn how break down the patterns that have kept them in no-win traps. Then, with more information on what motivates them, and some concrete exercises and techniques that can guide them to making wiser choices, it is my hope that their lives will resonate with who they truly are, empowering them them to manifest the happiness they deserve.”
