Benjamin Kofi Quansah, CGIA, CGMS, CPMA is an International Award-Winning Grants Management Specialist, recipient of the National Grants Management Association’s NGMA prestigious Newton Award for overall thought leadership in the Grants Management field.
The Newton Award is in recognition for his outstanding, sustained leadership in the grants management field. It includes executing sensitive and difficult assignments in grants policy or grants administration, having an articulated vision for grants management professionals and is given to someone who has made a difference in the grants management profession.
Ben’s domain expertise includes Financial Management of Grant-funded Projects, Full Life cycle Grants Management, and Implementation of Balanced Scorecard systems to measure and manage Performance in the Non-Profit and Public sectors.
His career in Full Life Cycle Grants Management has spanned many years. He has successfully managed projects funded by the United States Agency for International Development, the UK Department for International Development, and the European Union, among others, with total funding value of $106 million.
He speaks on various platforms on the subject of Grants Management. He spoke at the NGMA’s Annual Grants Conference on the topics Code of Ethics and Professional Conduct for Grant Professionals, and Indirect Cost Rates: An-Easy-To Understand Approach by Non-Profit Organisations.
He spoke at the Accounting and Finance Show at the Javits Convention Center in New York, on the topic Key Skills For Finance Professionals.
Benjamin has undertaken various assignments for international development organisations in the area of Grants Management, Fiduciary Risk Assessments, and Budgeting.
