Brent Kieft as young parents when at age 22 we had our first child, our daughter Erin. Three years later our son, Andy was born. Now 28 years later we are empty nesters.
As a parenting educator and coach I share stories about our children that are real, honest, and often humorous.
As adults our kids have successful careers and live on their own-without needing to borrow money from their parents.
While raising our family I taught in County schools for 27 years. In that time I worked with over 5,000 kids at all different age levels-and I have the hairline to prove it! Connecting with kids was one of my strengths in the classroom.
Building positive relationships was practiced every day. One lesson I hope my students will always remember: “We learn, not for school, but for life.”
For many years I have been sharing my home and classroom experiences with parents. I have been a certified instructor.
It is my passion to help parents build strong families. I present learnable skills that promote positive relationships with kids.
I believe kids can be respectful, responsible, resilient and FUN to be around.
Thousands of parents have thanked me for my help. It is truly my privilege and honor to serve families.
As an adjunct professor for a number of years, I have taught a variety of classes to teachers, Teacher training and apprecation for teachers is very important to me.
I have found my link with parents and with teachers to offer valuable insights to both groups. It is extremely rewarding to help teachers with their vital task of educating our children.
Parent education, teacher training, and facilitating family communication skills will continue to be my focus for the rest of my work.
