Brian Gordon Sinclair: Hemingway on Stage, a five play series, is the history of the first half of the twentieth century. The plays are stand-alone dramas that cover the themes of artistic creation, literature, the lost generation, marriage, bullfighting, big game hunting, World War I, Cuba, the Spanish Civil War, World War II, alcoholism, drug dependency, electro-shock therapy, the ageing process, depression and death.
As Brian Gordon Sinclair portrays the above themes, you will believe that Ernest Hemingway is standing in front of you (The Miami Herald). Each unique performance can be followed with questions to the playwright who will speak in and out of character.
In EASTER RISING the playwright appears as Patrick Pearse, commander of the Irish forces and will deal with the basics of the English/Irish conflict in its historical perspective.
The presentation can also include a major discussion on the art of the playwright.
