Candis Fancher, M.S., CCC-SLP, speech-language pathologist, has worked in the field of speech pathology for many years.
She works in a hospital setting: nationally-recognized stroke program site, specializing in aphasia therapy and participating in the stroke aftercare program.
Candis R. Fancher teaches educational seminars for stroke thrivers on such topics as:
“Staying Afloat in the Stress Pools of Life,”
“Embracing Your Changed Brain,”
“Integrating Humor into the Healing Process.”
Fancher believes that writing helps people discover that their own best therapist lies within.
She integrates humor into therapy to enhance the healing process.
