Donna Jordan, is an EMMY award-winning television anchor/reporter. She also anchors NewsCenter on UPN.
Jordan won a regional EMMY award for Outstanding Achievement in Anchoring News and an EMMY nomination for Outstanding Achievement in Writing.
Jordan traveled to the war-torn nation of Bosnia for an arduous special assignment. To chronicle her visit, she co-produced a television special, Passage to Peace: A Gift of Hope, which won the Associated Press Best Documentary award.
Repeatedly named Best Anchor in her television market by viewers, Jordan has covered sensational trials and interviewed stars.
She reported live from the Gorbachev-Bush Superpower Summit in Washington, D.C., and served as producer/host of the special, On Location with Oprah Winfrey.
Throughout her career, Jordan’s achievements have been numerous. Named Outstanding Television Newcomer, for her work on PM Magazine, she has also worked as an investigative consumer reporter, and was selected as Outstanding Young Career Woman for her work in radio.
Chosen as a Peace Accord Partner , she is working to help establish strong trade and humanitarian ties between the United States and Bosnia.
Jordan has been appointed to the Governor’s Community Service Council and gives much of her time to help women and children who have been battered and abused.
