Dr. Keshavan Nair has over 30 years experience in providing consulting services to corporations and government agencies in the United States and abroad. Prior to 1983 he was a Managing Principal, Executive Vice President and Director of Woodward-Clyde Consultants, one of the largest multi-disciplinary consulting firms in the United States. Since 1983 he has developed his own successful management consulting practice which focuses on leadership development and evaluation, and improving the process and quality of strategic decision making. Dr. NairÆs extensive knowledge of leadership in decision making enables him to provide personal advice and counsel to senior executives when they face significant changes. These changes can be in the strategic or operational aspects of the business and/or because of the acceptance of new and challenging assignments.
Dr. Nair has advised executives in the utility industry as they enter the new environment of deregulation and competition. In the beverage industry he has advised on issues dealing with the opening of international markets and increased competition through consolidation. Because of his expertise in management, decision making and risk assessment, Dr. Nair was a senior consultant in the development and management of complex transportation systems (e.g., TransAlaska Pipeline, LNG terminals, highway systems), power systems (nuclear, coal and solar power), and the evaluation of competing proposals in the funding of complex technical and R&D projects in industry and government.
