Eddie Erlandson helps executives transform entrenched leadership habits, especially with those who need to make their leadership styles more inspiring and direct, or to tone down overly aggressive behavior. He works with teams and business units to ensure that changes take root in a company’s culture. He has worked with executive teams across a number of industries, including pharmaceuticals, high-tech, services and government. He’s worked with several major hospitals and healthcare associations. Eddie draws on his knowledge of the physiological aspects of change to help thousands of people address issues in their work and personal lives. He developed successful personal strategies for discipline and endurance from competing in 25 triathlons, 45 marathons and three ultra 100-mile marathons. Using these sports experiences as metaphors for today’s marathon work requirements, he teaches leaders how to sustain peak performance while balancing personal and family life. He co-designed and taught Life Lessons, a 16-week wellness program, which created statistically significant improvements in quality of life and overall health in the program’s 300 participants. Has been featured in the New York Times and has had articles appear in Physician Executive and several other healthcare publications.
