Eric Anthony Galvez, PT DPT CSCS: A young Physical Therapist who became a brain tumor patient.

He became someone he was trained to help.

He has a very unique perspective on the rehab process I’d like to share with survivors, healthcare students, and healthcare professionals.

Extraordinary cancer/ brain tumor patients and their loved ones show people that ordinary individuals dealing with catastrophic diagnoses are still “human” and can do extraordinary things.

Dr. Galvez’s experience on both sides of the patient-medical professional relationship offers a witty, educational, and personal perspective on a very intimidating situation.

He has lectured at many universities and hospitals across the country about the unique issues faced by young brain tumor survivors. (http://www.youtube.com/user/ericgalvez).

Learning Objectives:

-understand the plight of young brain tumor survivors

-understand that many people are affected with a brain tumor/cancer

-understand that challenges uncovers potential

-understand that the only thing limiting yourself is YOURSELF!
