Funny Frank, aka Frank Olivier has never known ‘normal’ work. Frank attended Ringling Bros. & Barnum and Bailey Clown College.
Frank claims “It’s the only college in the world where the class clown, and the most likely to succeed are both the same person!” It was San Francisco’s heyday of street perfoming and here he developed his unique wild brand of humor. He started playing the local comedy scene, and would often play on the same bill with folks like a young Dana Carvey, Robin Williams, Whoopie Goldberg, Bob Goldthwait and others. He fell into an audition and landed a role with Mickey Rooney & Ann Miller, in the Broadway hit ‘Sugar Babies’. He travelled the country with them, earning rave reviews, and a nomination for a ‘Helen Hayes Award’ (best supporting actor in a touring production).
