Garrison Leykam on leadership, team building, performance excellence and realizing your true passion. Leykam holds a Masters Degree in Social Research and teaches leadership and organizational management.
Garrison Leykam has held senior management positions for such major corporations as MCI Telecommunications, Grand Circle Travel and DS as well as two professional hockey teams in the United Hockey League.
Leykam leadership and team building abilities have been profiled on ESPN, “Extreme Magazine” television program as well as in publications including the Boston Sunday Globe, Spotlight Magazine.
Garrison has taught “Leadership” and “Management & Organizations” at various Universities.
Garrison produced and hosted “DINERS” on Connecticut Public Television (CPTV).
Garrison produced and hosted the TV series “Out Of Your Comfort Zone”, and documentary “Comic On A Half Shell” about his experiences learning to be a stand-up comedian and appearing at the legendary Gotham Comedy Club.
He produces and hosts the radio program “Conversation Crossroad” and formerly was host and producer of “Summit Your Life” on the radio Network which was featured in the nationally-advertised Pepsi Refresh Project.
Garrison was an executive with music industry giant London Records, Inc., during the height of the British Wave and produced the Texas band Greezy Wheels, legendary jazz pianist Erroll Garner and hit singer-songwriter Leslie Pearl. He’s been associated in various capacities with the music of The Moody Blues, The Rolling Stones, Van Morrison, Al Green, and others.
A performer himself, Garrison was President of his own record label, B-LonG Records and has appeared at CBGB’s and Nashville’s legendary Bluebird Café.
Garrison currently has a book and reality TV series in the works.
Leykam has held several senior management positions in sales and business development with such companies as Cablevision, MCI Telecommunications, DSL.net and Grand Circle Travel.
His leadership and team-building skills have been written about in the Register, The Post, The Boston Globe, etc..
