In that period, Tiger won over a third of the tournaments he entered and six of his fourteen major championships, including his dramatic 2008 U.S. Open victory at Torrey Pines. The memoir reveals how Haney worked to help improve the world’s best player, and he’ll explain his decision to resign from the “best job in golf coaching.”
Haney said in a recent Associated Press story, “I felt like I had a front-row seat to golf history. It just kind of chronicles a little bit of what I went through, what I dealt with, how I coached, and the observations I made.”
Haney, who has instructed more than 200 touring professionals, also maintains a successful television career as the host of The Golf Channel’s The Haney Project, the network’s highest-rated original program entering its fourth year.
