Expert witness on forecasting economic damages (various cases)
Conducted a series of studies showing that competitor-oriented objectives(e.g. market share) have detrimental effects on long-term profitability of firms. Developed rule-based forecasting, an expert systems approach to forecasting that integrates managerial judgment and statistical extrapolations; Validation studies have shown rule-based forecasting to be more accurate than other approaches for extrapolation of annual data. Developing and testing an expert system to assess persuasiveness or advertising copy. Developing principles on forecasting , so that research findings can be used by practitioners and researchers.
