Jesse Magee will explain his life growing up with physical, social, and family challenges in an interactive presentation. His inspirational story and many accomplishments help listeners understand the loneliness and isolation faced by some people with developmental disabilities.
Jesse is legally blind and has cerebral palsy on his right side.
This doesn’t stop him from being an accomplished drummer and drum instructor, one of the most talented and respected singer/songwriters, and a young rock star.
In the second part of the presentation, for 30-40 minutes, enjoy the music of Leftstronger, Jesse’s original rock band. They will rock the house and demonstrate their talent in a fun, rockin’ way.
Jesse will show your audience how he plays the guitar upside down and holds the drumstick. Jesse maneuvers on a professional stage with only 10% vision and cerebral palsy.
As an experienced drum instructor, he has a natural affinity for children, including those with disabilities. Everyone will relate to Jesse in some way!
His talent speaks for itself, and nothing will stand in the way of his success and being a role model for others.
In a 30-minute interactive presentation, Jesse Magee will explain his life growing up with physical, social, and family challenges.
Leftstronger is an amazing band that performs original music. Its music combines all the elements of great, radio-friendly rock and roll: catchy hooks, hard-driving rhythms, and strong vocal harmonies. Singer/songwriter Jesse Magee uses his amazing vocal range to dramatic effect.
Jesse’s songs all have meaning and resonate with fans after only one play. The memorable melodies are enhanced by the guitar solos of the extraordinary Rob Holt, Spencer Jozwiak (Angel Fallen) on bass, and Eric Steven, a talented drummer nominated by the best rock drummer!
Jesse and Rob performed in front of 60,000 people for the largest Earth Day Festival in the nation at the National Mall in DC. …always with an incredible response!
Q. Do I need a stage, ample space, sound system, or anything else?
In most cases, you only need to provide an area big enough to hold your audience and an electrical outlet for the band.
Suitable presentation areas include the cafeteria, gymnasium, multi-purpose rooms, and various other spaces we can adapt to your needs.
Presentations are designed to be hassle-free, so you NEVER need to provide a stage or fancy lighting.
If you have it, that’s great!
