Kelly Lange is L.A.’s best known TV anchorwoman, fronting the Four and Eleven O’Clock News for NBC-4, the NBC-owned station in Burbank, California. She has recently been named West Coast anchor for MSNBC. With Trophy Wife she made her debut as a novelist.
Kelly began her career in journalism after deciding not to pursue her original desire to become a teacher. She answered an ad for a helicopter traffic reporter. She was rejected after her first audition, but that didn’t stop Kelly. She changed her clothes and hairdo, went to another location where they were holding auditions, delivered her memorized script, and got the job.
