Kurt Muse is an international business manager and the co-author of “Six Minutes to Freedom”, a thrilling memoir that details his harrowing experience of organizing a band of Panamanian patriots to overthrow General Manuel Noriega’s Narco-Military dictatorship.
After being captured and held in solitary confinement in a small concrete cell for 9 months, he was ultimately rescued by the US Army’s Elite Delta Force and returned to his family. Kurt’s incredible story of courage, resilience, and the pursuit of freedom inspires all.
Kurt Muse’s motivational approach is genuinely unparalleled, forged through his extraordinary experiences in the face of severe adversity. Having endured the harsh realities of trying to overthrow a narco-dictator, imprisonment, and a dramatic rescue mission by elite Delta Force operatives during Operation Just Cause, Kurt’s stories are more than just tales of survival—they are potent lessons in resilience and determination.
His presentations are profoundly engaging, blending emotional storytelling with moments of humor to create a lasting impact. Kurt’s ability to connect personally with his audience stems from his lived experiences, which he shares in a way that resonates deeply. He encourages listeners to confront their challenges with newfound courage and resolve. Kurt’s approach is not just about recounting his past but about inspiring transformation.
He demonstrates that the most daunting obstacles can lead to profound personal growth and that each individual has the inner strength to overcome significant adversity. His stories emphasize that true potential is often revealed through struggle and uncertainty, offering practical insights on harnessing this potential in everyday life.
Kurt Muse was born in the United States into a family of citizen soldiers whose roots go back to the Revolutionary War. His adventurous family lived first in Cuba and eventually settled in Panama, where they began a printing and graphic arts supply business.
He returned to Panama to help grow his family’s business and start a family. Being an American citizen, Kurt studiously avoided politics…until Noriega burned down one of his companies and killed one of his good friends. Panama was the only home Kurt knew, and a ruthless machete-waving dictator was threatening it.
Muse had been imprisoned for broadcasting from a pirate radio station that dissented against Panamanian dictator Manuel Noriega. He was the first American rescued from prison by the U.S. Delta Force.
