Dr. Lillian Glass is one of the world’s most well respected and foremost authorities in the field of Communication.
As a renowned Body Language expert, she has demonstrated her skills throughout the media and in the legal fields.
She is also a media commentator where she shares her unique prespective concerning current news events. Known as “The First Lady of Communication” she has authored over a dozen books, including the best-sellers Toxic People – 10 Ways of Dealing with People Who Make Your Life Miserable; He Says She Says, and her current book, I Know What You’re Thinking – Using the Four Codes of Reading People to Improve Your Life., available in almost every language, around the world.
Dr. Glass’s clients have included celebrities, politicians, and world leaders.
She lectures worldwide. Currently, Dr. Glass is seen throughout the media, providing commentary on current issues. She regularly appears on, CNN’s Nancy Grace Show, CNN’s Showbiz Tonight, and CNN’s Headline News. as well as on MSNBC. She also appears regularly on the Today Show where her segments represent all aspects of communication. Her expertise in the area of “body language” and “reading people” continue to be featured in popular television and print media outlets worldwide including Cosmopolitan, Glamour, Newsweek, OK, Life and Style, In Touch Weekly, Rolling Stone, and US Weekly Magazine.
After receiving her Ph.D. at the young age of 24, in the field of Communication Disorders, her doctoral dissertation “The Psychosocial Perceptions of Speech and Cosmetic Appearance on Patients With Craniofacial Anomalies” has become a landmark study.
Earlier, she received her MS Degree in Speech and graduated Magna Cum Laude with a BS in Speech and Hearing Sciences.
There she was selected nation-wide to be one of Glamour magazines “ TenTop College Women”.
She completed a Post-Doctoral Fellowship in Medical Genetics, where she was both the youngest and only Ph.D. in an MD program.
Dr. Glass then went on to become a university professor. There, she taught in the medical and dental schools and in the liberal arts college.
Her research on psycho-social and communication aspects of patients
with genetic diseases has been published in professional journals worldwide.
Dr. Glass also holds a second Ph.D. in the field of Psychology and uses her unique background to educate the public about various topics in the news in an entertaining and compelling manner.
Because of her unique ability to do accents and dialects from around the globe, she began working with some of Hollywood’s top performers who needed to learn an accent or dialect for a particular movie role.
Some of her most celebrated clients have included Dustin Hoffman, whom she helped sound like a woman for Tootsie, Sean Connery, Melanie Griffith, Nicholas Cage, Andy Garcia, Julio Iglesias, and a host of others too numerous to name.
The highlight of her career was training deaf actress Marlee Matlin to speak publicly for the very first time at the Academy Awards Ceremonies.
Dr. Glass has also worked with countless sports figures, numerous politicians, and world leaders.
Her direct and motivational approach has also been welcomed by the thousands who have attended her programs throughout the years.
Dr. Glass has also served as an expert witness in both Federal and State Court cases in the area of Forensic Voice and Speech analysis.
She has also used her expertise in the area of body language to help both the prosecution and the defense in various types of criminal cases.
She has also been a sought after by the legal profession in the guidance of jury selection and in witness preparation.

Dr. Glass even added songwriting to her professional repertoire. She has served on the Board of Governors of the National Association of Recording Arts and Sciences (NARAS) the Grammy Organization), and belongs to the Songwriters Guild of America (SGA), and the American Society of Composers, and Authors and Publishers (ASCAP).
In addition, she is a member of the National Academy of Television Arts and Sciences (NATAS), the International Radio and Television Society (IRTS), American Federation of Television & Radio Artists (AFTRA), and the Screen Actors Guild (SAG).
She has also performed as a voice-over artist on radio and television spots, as herself in several films, and has served as a spokesperson for various commercial products.

She served as a reporter for KABC Television “Eyewitness News in Los Angeles for five years. She has also been a guest host on several radio shows for the ABC radio network.
Since its inception, Dr.Glass has appeared regularly as an analyst for Court TV. She has been seen on almost every news venue including Fox News, MSNBC, CNN, CBS NEWS, NBC and ABC and has been a regular contributor to CBS’s The Early Show. Presently she contributes to NBC’s Today Show where she does segments related to all aspects of communication.
