The Rhythmakers band was started in 1995 by Chris Fletcher and Lisa Merrill. The band started out as a 4 & 5 piece group and quickly grew into a 7-piece show band about a year later. By early 1998, The Rhythmakers added a trumpet player to round out the horn section. In an effort to make the band as versatile as possible, The Rhythmakers added a new male lead vocalist in early 1999.
The band is made up of talented musicians; Chris Fletcher on Guitar/Vocals, Rod Ratelle on Bass/Vocals, Dave Castel de Oro on Keys / Saxophone / Vocals, Chris Klich on Saxophone & Flute, Steve Ebner on Trumpet, and bringing home the beat is Mike Tartar on Drums. Sharing on female lead vocals are Lisa Merrill and Lisa Henderson with Leslie Davis rounding out the band with his powerful male vocals, all performing outstanding versions of popular songs and adding fun choreography into the show. The singers are interactive with the audience members, leading Conga Lines, and getting guests to sing along with them (sometimes on stage)!
