Michael Dreiblatt a recognized expert in effectively dealing with disruptive students, Section 504 of the Rehabilitation Act, Individuals with Disabilities Education Improvement Act (IDEA), conflict resolution, and bullying and violence prevention, as well as stopping workplace bullying and harassment.
He has successfully trained over 500,000 students, teachers, faculty, staff, and parents to stop bullying, and improve school climate.
Continuously improving content and delivery methods using research based best practices and techniques, providing schools and businesses with the most effective bullying prevention programs available today.
A realistic and upbeat message helps schools create a positive culture and shows students how to stop bullying safely and effectively. A guest speaker in 43 states, authored two books, and helped hundreds of schools and districts across America to stop bullying.
A master’s degree is in school leadership with a specialization in curriculum & assessment. Dreiblatt has served as a principal, dean of students, teacher, grant writer, and mediator. He hold’s a director of curriculum endorsement.
Has many years of experience working in the non-profit and corporate sectors to help stop workplace bullying and harassment. A former member of the Agency of Education Harassment, Hazing, and Bullying Prevention Advisory Council.
While serving as a middle school principal, he ensured the safety and academic success of nine hundred fifty students.
He was the instructional leader and administrator in charge of creating and implementing a $13,000,000 budget. Working collaboratively with teachers and staff, we created and implemented proficiency-based report cards, strengthened teacher-led professional learning communities, and continued the roll-out of Developmental Designs, an evidence-based character education program.
His passion for restorative justice compelled him to lead an improved focus on Multi-Tiered Systems of Support resulting in a 51% decrease of discipline referrals over the previous year.
He has over twenty years’ experience designing and teaching curriculum on-line, using multiple technologies and teaching platforms.
His first book, How to Stop Bullying and Social Aggression, provides K–8 teachers, school administrators, and counselors with fun, interactive lessons and activities that stop bullying, support students’ safety and well-being, promote healthy social-emotional development, and improve academic achievement.
His second book, The Wallop Story, includes lots of fun role plays and step-by-step help on how to stand up to bullies.
As a trained mediator, his role is to listen to all sides, facilitate discussion, clarify issues, and assist disputing parties in reaching mutually agreeable solutions.
As he functions as a neutral facilitator and focus on the interaction between disputants, facilitating understanding and dialogue without being seen as taking sides.
He also provides expert witness testimony for court cases from inception through resolution. As he helps determine the merits of a case, conduct a full file review and analysis, compile expert reports, and offer testimony at deposition and/or at trial.
