Pekitta Tynes, MBA: Comedienne uses humor to share her memories of being abandoned without a birth certificate, living in foster care, and later adopted at age nine.
After years of searching for a biological family, both her father, mother, and a host of other relatives were found through DNA testing. She shares her journey and helps those searching for a biological connection by providing hope, inspiration, and encouragement never to give up.
Pekitta’s forte is an impromptu comedy, where she performs routines off the top of her head by finding comedy in immediate observation. Her quick wit allows her to have a different show for each performance.

Pekitta is the author of “Thank God I Was Adopted ‘Cause DNA is no Joke!” Based on her memoirs and journey to how she found her biological family through DNA testing after 35 years of searching.
Pekitta holds a Masters Degree in Business Administration.
