In the Air Force, he served in a wide range of leadership and management positions. These include: Training Officer, Project Manager for Operational Test and Evaluation of Aerospace Systems, undergraduate management instructor, Air Operations Officer in combat, Base Commander, Management Consultant and Vice Commandant of the Air War College.
As Director of Management Consultation for the United States Air Force, he was instrumental in establishing and developing the Air Force consultation organization which grew to some fifty consultants employing the latest in computer-based organizational development techniques and methodologies for Department of Defense clients world-wide. He has received extensive formal consultant training and is a certified consultant by Inscape Publishing.
On a variety of leadership and management topics to more than 50,000 attendees worldwide. He has published articles on leadership and related topics in various periodicals.
