Phyllis C. Horner, Ph.D., committed, energetic, smart, decisive and successful at getting results for the businesses she serves. She always seeks out the leveraging opportunities – those where the risk was moderately high and the payoff was great for the organization and the people who worked there.
Trained as an organizational psychologist, she has a keen understanding of why people act the way they do at work. She has used this understanding to develop systems that help people thrive in good times, and survive the tough times at work. In collaboration with organizational leaders, she has developed performance, career, hiring, succession and quality systems for a wide range of businesses and industries, from cars to health care, from agencies to utilities.
She works with senior leaders on finding their own unique leadership power. She found that the CEOs, COOs and other executives she worked with were exceptional people and great leaders, but that they felt something was missing. And many of them felt a great desire – to find a personal alignment between who they are as people and who they are as a leader.
Phyllis C. Horner, Ph.D., developed tools to help leaders fully express themselves in the workplace while still fitting in to the corporate culture. She created and tested programs to support leaders in quickly and effectively improving the situation they find themselves in.
