Rick A. Kurshner, Music Magic: “A TRIP INSIDE THE JUKEBOX OF A GENERATION”

ACT 1 = Let’s Look Back

In the first act, the song “Going Back” describes the show’s journey itself perfectly. “I think I’m going back to the things I learned so well in my youth.” All the songs in the first act lyrically evoke images from past years in our lives.

ACT 2 = Our Jukebox

This act consists of songs specifically celebrating music itself. As a transition, “Rock and Roll Never Forgets” reminds the audience that it is never too late to recapture the excitement and emotion that the music of our lives can still provide.

ACT 3 = Band Favorites

As a third act, with the intention of building a personal connection between the players in the band and the audience, the individual band members have each chosen a song they really want to play for the audience and will explain why they chose it.

Narrated live music concert written specifically for baby boomer audiences.
