Roy C. Smith, an Entrepreneurship Professor, specializes in international investment banking and corporate finance. He received his M.B.A. degree from Harvard University.
Smith’s principal research areas include international banking and finance, all forms of entrepreneurial finance and institutional investment practice, professional conduct, and business ethics. He is also co-author with Ingo Walter of several books, High Finance in the Euro Zone, Global Banking, and Governing the Modern Corporation.
He has been a director of public corporations in the U.S. and the U.K. and was a founding partner of a London-based financial services consulting company. He is an advisor to several small entrepreneurial companies and a trustee of several family investment trusts and a charitable foundation.
