Sally Peters, Ph. D., is a biographer, memoirist, drama critic, and cultural historian,.She has brought the story of Bernard Shaw’s vital and inspirational life and drama to widely varying audiences here and abroad. The author of the Choice award-winning biography Bernard Shaw: The Ascent of the Superman shares insights she gleaned in the almost two decades she spent writing her biography of Shaw–both on the man and on the delicate task of capturing a life in words. She is currently writing a book on ballroom dance that is part biography, part memoir. Formerly a faculty member at Yale University and in the Wesleyan University Graduate Liberal Studies Program.
