Satie Gossett’s life and experiences in a celebrity family and how that shaped his worldview.
Satie Gossett began his film career re-creating favorite movie scenes from Star Wars and other movies with his childhood friends and a Super 8 camera.
He went on to graduate with a Bachelor of Science.
Satie has produced various reality-based specials for Associated Television working with the likes of Blair Underwood and Whoopi Goldberg.
Satie produced his first feature film, “Unreported” featuring Guy Torry and Daphne Duplaix that is slated for release.
Satie has produced the series, “Cursed” which aired last year on KDOC.
Satie has written and directed three short films that have screened at the Malibu film festival and the MacWorld conference.
Satie second short film, Jewtholic is a religious comedy narrated by Louis Gossett, Jr featuring Deep Roy from “Charlie and the Chocolate Factory” and the Yuan Twins from “Observe and Report.”
His short film, departure is a film utilizing three main locations, in three separate countries, the United States, France, and Belarus, and three distinct directors from those respected regions.
Each filmmaker will contribute their assigned footage, shot exclusively on the iPhone apparatus, to form one complete project, one complete intertwining story with original music by Public Enemy founder, Hank Shocklee.
The film screened at the MacWorld conference.
Satie is developing his first written script that he will also direct with award winning producer, Romell Foster Owens.
