Prior to working in business, Sherry was a college instructor. She was awarded a Fulbright Hays Grant to the University of Indonesia, Jakarta, Indonesia. While in public education, she established the first Bilingual Program in Denver Public Schools.
Sherry received an M.A. in Applied Communications and an undergraduate degree in English, Spanish, and education.
She is bilingual in Spanish.
