Two pallets define Terry’s remarkable life, Speaking and Painting. Terry treasures all walks of life, and from his experience he knows that he must continue to work hard at everything he does.
His palette of words educates, motivates, and inspires all ages and audiences from coliseum sizes to elementary school classrooms. Terry has touched hearts and souls in large cities and rural communities throughout the United States.
Terry’s other palette is full color wheel of vibrant acrylic paints. He paints an array of beautiful pieces, specializing in landscapes. You can see his artwork in the Gallery.
“I paint landscapes and seascapes. My style ranges from traditional to impressionistic. I hold the brushes in my right hook and occasionally in my mouth for detail work. Churches, harbors, winter scenes, and lighthouse are among my subjects.”
Terry Haffner was born without arms and short legs. He has a twin brother, two sisters, two other brothers, and nineteen nieces and nephews. Uncertainties about Terry’s future became challenges. Terry’s unyielding determination, faith, and love from family community and friends became the foundation for his “CAN DO” life.
Terry graduated from University.
His talent in art and speaking soon became his passions.
Terry’s landscapes and seascapes are colorful in an impressionistic style. Favorite subjects include: mountains, ranches, harbors, lighthouses, streams, winter landscapes, and country fields.
