Virginia Schoenfeld, Ph.D., MPH, DPSc, BCC, a healthcare professional; was a Medical Service Corps officer, in the United States Navy. During her naval career, Commander Virginia Schoenfeld trained in Leadership, Organizational Transformation, Information Technology Management and Marketing.
Doctor Schoenfeld has also taught higher education at two universities.
A successful career in corporate and military leadership and management, Virginia’s main focus today is to reach out to communities, individuals and employers and help them create well-organizations and healing.
A passion for helping people find healing of body, mind and spirit, guided Virginia to establish health and wellness, educational programs, after recognizing that many chronic health conditions were not only preventable but also reversible.
Medical model/s that continues to prove ineffective addressing the link between illness and lifestyle choices, dismal healthcare data and trends for many preventable chronic conditions, such as type 2 diabetes and obesity, and a personal journey of self-healing, motivated her to develop a series of educational and wellness programs that have proven very successful.
Virginia’s goal is to provide a holistic understanding of well-being and the link to healthier lifestyles, for those who need closer support to meet their individual or community wellness goals.
Virginia holds a doctoral degree in Natural Health and Wellness and is licensed as Doctor in Pastoral Medicine as well as an alternative medicine service provider for elite athletes, NFL and NBA members.
Doctor Schoenfeld has significant knowledge and training in Holistic Nutrition, Mind-Body Medicine, Energy Medicine, Bio-field Therapies.
She earned the “Distinguished Graduate” honor from the National Defense University, Information Resource and Technology Management, Washington DC where she graduated as Chief Information Officer (CIO).
Virginia is a highly sought out bilingual English-Spanish motivational speaker and wellness lecturer.
A twenty-year career Navy Medical Service Corps and a caregiver to a 100% service-connected disabled veteran spouse, doctor Schoenfeld, Ph.D., practices in her personal and professional life a consistent philosophy based on mind-body-spirit principles of well-being.
