Losing both his legs in a horific hiking accident, Warren has gone on to become the first double above knee amputee to reach the summit of Africa’s tallest peak, Mt Kilimanjaro.
MacDonald was trapped beneath a one-ton slab of stone in a remote area of Australia for two days – only to undergo the amputation of both his legs at mid thigh. Instead of giving in to his injuries, MacDonald continues to climb some of the world’s highest peaks and cliffs – and to be an inspiration to audiences.
