Growing up in a marginalized community, surviving the World Trade Center tragedy, and becoming a successful entrepreneur, Nicole’s life story is an inspiration to the people she has addressed.
Nicole founded and now serves as CEO, a financial investment firm specializing in legacy planning, clergy compensation, and solo practitioner advising.
She has grown the business from 10 client household accounts and $1 million in assets under management to a customer base of 100 client household accounts and $25 million in assets under management while sustaining a 97% retention rate.
Nicole has initiated and enhanced up to 20 annual strategic partnerships with public and private entities to extend free financial guidance to underemployed and minority communities, which have been featured in Black Enterprise, Money Matters, Crain’s Business, Huffington Post, and PBS.
Previously, Nicole held investment advisor roles with PNC Investment, MetLife Insurance, Morgan Stanley, and Legg Mason that was acquired by Franklin Templeton. Among her accomplishments was designing and implemented financial strategies for clients that focused on their financial objectives and risk tolerance. Year over year, she significantly increased assets under management and new client acquisition.
Nicole is a Certified Financial Planner (CFP)®, and holds Series 7, 63, and 65 Securities Licenses. She is a Board Member of CFP Board Center for Financial Planning Diversity Advisory Group, Chair of the Generation X Community Association, and a Board Member of Recovery House.
She frequently speaks and has authored several books on financial and life planning.
Nicole received a Doctorate in Transformational Leadership with top honors, Magna Cum Laude from Theological Seminary, and a B.S. Cum Laude.
